Youba fluently plays traditional Mandinka and Wolof music, as well as modern jazz, reggae, and Afro beats. His father, Issa Cissokho, was a saxophonist for Orchestra Baobab. Youba has performed solo across Africa, Europe, and the U.S. and is sought after for various events and performances.
